Day 1
Transfer from Airport to hotel, Meet and greet dinner, Hotel accommodation. Day spent at your own leisure.
Day 2
From Phnom Penh we start out on tarmac through the town of Skuon, famous
for its deep fried tarantulas!
After visiting the hilltop temples of ‘Phnom Srey Phnom
Bros’ (Man and Woman Mountain), we head over the Mekong for lunch.
We then ride through rubber plantations and young forests of Kompong Cham
and Memut before reaching the quiet town of Snuol, where we spend the
night.
Day 3
A day of adventure as we take on the old back road through the wilderness
to Mondulkiri, the province often
dubbed "The Wales of Cambodia".
Day 4
Leaving Sen Monorom, we take an ox-cart track through forests and rivers
to Bousra waterfall, the largest in Cambodia. After relaxing in this peaceful
setting, we ride to Baok Pran Mountain with its interesting rock formations
in the heart of the jungle. Here we offer the option of camping in hammocks
or staying with a family in a forest-village.
Day
5
After our stay in the jungle, it's short bike ride to the elephant-trekking
village, where we alight our bikes in favour of a different kind of ride.
Travel by elephant through the jungle, hills and hill tribe regions of
this stunning province before returning to Sen Monorom and our pretty
bungalow lodging.
Day 6
We begin our journey back to Phnom Penh
along a winding and hilly red dirt road to Snoul, where we stop for lunch.
From there it's plain sailing along new tarmac roads, to Kompong Cham. Here we visit
the hilltop temples of Phnom Srey Phnom Bros (Woman and Man Mountain)
and Wat Nokor, a mix
of
old and new temples.
Day 7
After a relaxing morning in Kompong Cham we head back to Phnom Penh
along the Mekong river, before arriving back in the Capital for a farewell dinner
Day 8
End of Tour. Day spent at your own leisure and transfer from hotel to airport.
